You’re able to easily get your products, bills of materials (BoMs) and 3D files from Fusion into Fusion Operations.

Integration Requirements

1. The user that is trying to access the integration in Fusion Operations needs to also have access to at least one hub in Fusion
2. The software that is being used is the Fusion desktop

Importing Products/BoMs from Fusion

There are three methods to import products from Fusion into Fusion Operations: Via the Products Menu, the Production Order Menu and the Sales Order Menu.

Import Products and BoMs Via Products Menu

1. Go to the "Products" menu (1) and select on the "Add product" dropdown (2), located at the top right corner of the screen. Next, select "Import from Fusion" (3).

2. After clicking on “Import From Fusion”, you can choose from which team you want to import your products (1), and navigate between different projects (2).

3. From the available folders, select the design/product you want to import (0). There are several adaptations you can make to your Fusion product upon import:

  • Modify the product code by selecting the pencil symbol (1) or double-clicking on the product box.

  • Add a prefix (2) and/or a suffix (3) to the products being imported. If you choose to add them, make sure to click "Apply" (4).

  • Choose to import a single product or the entire product's Bill of Materials (BoM). To do this, check the boxes corresponding to the items you want to import into Fusion Operations (5).

When you are satisfied with your selection, click "Import" (6).

4. After pressing "Import," the products and all their BoM levels will be imported. You can view them on the page for the product that was created, nested under the "Bill of Materials" tab.
