After completing the necessary configurations in Fusion Operations and successfully creating an active Production Order, workers can start recording production in the system using the Fusion Operations mobile application on a tablet, mobile phone, or any other properly configured device.
Note: The device must be successfully authenticated before workers can use it to insert production.
The application serves as the primary interface for shop floor workers to interact with the system and record their production activities.
1. On your device, tap the Insert Production button.
2. Enter your Worker ID to log in.
If you do not know your Worker ID, contact your Fusion Operations administrator for assistance.
In case the tablets are used by one person only, the worker screen will prevent the worker from identifying them whenever they want to record production.
3. Shipping
If any Shipping is attached to Production Orders, this screen is where the worker will indicate which Shipping they are about to address.
If there are none, this screen won't be shown.
Tip: You can also disable this screen on your account settings, under the tab Production > Selection > "Do not ask for shipping when starting production".
4. Select the Production Order you will be working on. This screen appears after selecting a shipping or immediately after entering your Worker ID if shipping selection is not configured.
5. Select the Product you want to produce.
6. Select the Operation you want to execute for the previously selected Product.
7. The clock will now start recording the production time for the previously selected Product and Operation.
8. Once the clock starts, you will be redirected to the starting screen. After completing the operation, tap Insert Production again and enter your Worker ID to identify yourself. Meanwhile, other workers can also use the app by logging in with their own Worker IDs.
9. Enter the quantity produced during this time.
10. Review all the production-related data displayed on the final screen. If everything is correct, choose one of the following options:
Submit: Submit the production.
Confirm and create another: Submit the current production and immediately start another production with the same worker.
Confirm and print label: Submit the production and print a label.
Note: Depending on your account configuration and the fields enabled, you may be required to provide additional production-related information, such as:
Produced waste
Production checklists
Consumed products and lots
Produced lot
12. Your production has been successfully submitted. You will be redirected to the main dashboard, where you can view your productivity at the top of the screen for few seconds.
The system is ready once again to be used by any worker.
FAQ:
1. Can I prevent multiple workers from starting the same operation simultaneously?
Yes. You can restrict multiple workers from starting the same operation simultaneously by disabling the Parallel Production option in the machine settings.
For operations without machines: Create a dummy machine, assign it to the operation, and uncheck the Parallel Production option in the machine settings.
For operations with machines: Navigate to the machine settings and uncheck the Parallel Production option.
Note: This restriction will not work if two or more machines are assigned to the same operation, as another machine will remain available even when one is occupied.
