Create Production Orders for Sub Products
1. Navigate to Production Orders/Jobs from the side panel (1). Click the Production Order/Job (2) or the pencil icon (3) to open the Production Order/Job.
2. Click the Add new Production Order icon on the right side, shown as a hierarchy/connected-nodes symbol in the image below.
A window will open with the options as shown in the image below:
By default, the Production Order code and required quantity are automatically filled based on the first level of the BoM (1). You can update these values if needed.
Select Include all levels from the Bill of Materials (2) option to include sub-products from all levels of the BoM. If this option is not selected, only the first level of the BoM is considered
Create one Production Order per Subproduct (3): Select this option to create a separate Production Order for each sub-product. If the BoM contains multiple sub-products, a separate Production Order will be created for each one.
Add to the Original Production Order (4): Select this option to add the PO for sub-products to the original Production Order instead of creating separate Production Orders.
2.1 Click Yes (5) to proceed with creating the PO for Sub Products.
FAQ:
1. Why does nothing happen when I click "Add Production Order for Sub Products"?
Check if the "Do not suggest the creation of sub-production orders" setting is enabled. If so, disable (keep it unchecked) the setting and try again.
