In Autodesk Fusion Operations, it is very easy to know the materials consumed by a specific product. There are 3 simple ways to check this.
Click here to learn more about how to create products in Fusion Operations.

Check consumed materials via products

For example, let's check what are all the products required to make "Bread".

1. Navigate to the products menu (1), use the search bar (2) or click on the "Add filter" to (3) to find the product, and edit it (4).

2. Switch to the "Bill of Materials" tab (1), where you can see all the products required to make "Bread" across all its operations (2).
To learn more about bulk updating a product's BoM, click here.

Pro-Tip: However, if you want to view all levels of the Bill of Materials (BoM) or determine if any of these products depend on other products, click "SHOW ALL BOM LEVELS"

Note: You can also export the BoM to Excel or a PDF of all these by clicking "Excel Export" or "Export PDF" respectively.

Check consumed materials via Export Bill of Materials.

1. Navigate to the "Products" menu (1), check the box next to the code (2), and click "Export Bill of Materials" (3).

A file containing all products with at least one consumption, along with their consumed products and the respective operations where the consumption occurs, will be generated.

Pro-Tip: You can use the search box or table filters to export consumptions for a particular family, product, disabled products, or all products, including both active and disabled ones.

2. Download the file and open it.

3. Once the file is open, filter the products in column A - "Product Code" to show you all the products that are consumed in column C. In our case, filter for "Bread".

Check consumed materials via Batch cost update

1. Navigate to "Batch cost update" under the products menu (1), search for your desired product (2), and click "Excel Export Full BoM"(3).

Note: You can also use the "Filters" to search for the exact product.

2. Download the file and open it, which will give you all levels of BoM for that particular product.
