In Fusion Operations it is possible to know how many products consume a particular product or what products consume a specific product and there are 2 ways to check this.
Method 1
For example, let's check how many products consume sugar.
Click here to learn more about how to create products in Fusion Operations.
1. Go to the products listing (1) in Fusion Operations and open the product that you want to check, in our case let's search(2) and open the product called "sugar"(3).
2. Under the "Materials/Subproducts" tab click the "PRODUCTS THAT CONSUME SUGAR" button.
To learn more about bulk updating a product's BoM click here.
3. Here you can see all the products that consume sugar. As you can see in the image below, there are 2 products that consume sugar.
Note: you can also export the Excel of all the products that consume sugar (or the desired product) by clicking "EXCEL EXPORT".
Method 2
1. Go to the products listing (1) and click "Export Consumptions"(2). Then a file containing all the products with at least 1 consumption and their consumed product, with the respective operation where the consumption occurs will be generated.
Pro-Tip: you can use the table filters to export consumptions for a particular family, product, disabled products, or all products including active and disabled.
2. Download the file and open it.
3. Once the file is open, filter the product in the column "Consumed Product Code" which will show you all the products that consume this product.
For example, below, we have a product called "Raw Material 1" consumed by 3 different products.
FAQ:
1. Why only part of the consumptions are being exported?
Before exporting make sure to clear all filters used to export the entire active products that have consumptions.
