Where can I see the BoM on the tablet?

Autodesk Fusion Operations allows you to view the Bill of Materials(BoM) of each ongoing production order. There are 3 possible options to see the BoM, which we will explore in the article below.


Method 1) You can go to the "View BoM" button directly on the tablet/mobile app
Method 2) You can enter the "Workers screen" button and find the same "View BoM" button
Method 3) You can view the BoM in Work Instruction


Follow these steps below to find the BoM of an ongoing production in the tablet.


Method 1:

1. Click "View BoM" on your tablet/mobile app.


2. Enter your worker ID or read the worker barcode. (Click here for worker login options)


3. The "BoM ongoing production"​ will be immediately shown as per the image below:




Method 2:

1. Open your worker's screen (1) by entering your worker ID (2), or other login options.


2. Click "View BoM" on your worker screen.


3. The "BoM ongoing production"​ will be immediately shown as per the image below:


Method 3:

1. Click Insert Production on your tablet/mobile app (1) and enter your worker ID (2),

2. Choose the Production Order you're going to start, you can learn how to create a Production order here.


3. Choose the Product from the Production Order, note that a Production order may contain one or more products to produce.

4. Now select the Operation to perform.
NOTE: The work instructions must be created and assigned to the operation before starting production, to know more check this article.


5. Now you can see the BoM under Work Instructions.



FAQ:

1. Why can't I see the BoM of my two ongoing productions in view BoM?

View BoM shows information for one ongoing production, if you have automatic machines and have more than one operation ongoing only the latest production order started by that worker will be shown.

Pro-tip: if you have a Work Instruction assigned to that operation you can see the BoM of each production order ongoing, through the work instruction button.
