If you want to check what is the status of machines in your shop floor, it is possible to view them from a mobile device.
Open the Fusion Operations app and choose the Machine Status button:
A list of machines added to the system that correspond to the section of the worker using the application will be displayed.
At the top-left of that window you can see two options:
Back - it will redirect you to the main screen of the app.
Search bar where you can type the name of machine you want to display.
The colors are indicating their current statuses.
Green means Running - the machine is currently working on the operation displayed on the bottom green field. There is also information about the current progress.
Blue means Available - the machine is ready to work on assigned shift.
Red means Stopped - the machine has a downtime reported and it needs to be reviewed.
Gray means Off shift - the machine is out of its shift so any operation performed at that time can show incorrect time in Production Records.
The little icon on the right of active or stopped machines shows you which worker is currently using them:
You can view more details when selecting a machine from the list. Let's take a running machine as an example:
The Back option will redirect you to the worker selection screen.
General information about the machine. Its name, shift, running time, etc. At the bottom there is the same blue progress bar as in the machine list view.
You can see two additional options on the right side:
- Stop machine - if the machine needs to be stopped for any reason, this will record the information to the system.
- See machine files - any files that are related to current Production Order will be displayed here. With the Other files option you can also review different files related to Products or Production Orders. Those tabs show what Productions or actions are, will or have been performed on the selected machine.
- Scheduled Production - current Production Order and another one in the Queue will be displayed here. There are information about the Production Order Code, who is using the machine, what's the running time and the Due date. If you would like to see the Product and the Operation name, click the arrow on the right to expand the view.
With the blue Finish Production button on the right it's possible to end the current work.
- Maintenance Orders - any works related to the machine itself (current or scheduled) will be listed here.
It is also possible to use the Request Maintenance option to highlight some unexpected issues that need to be covered for that particular machine. The system will ask for the worker number and then will displayed the following screen:
- History tab - a list of all actions performed on the selected machine with detailed information about them.
An available and off shift machine will show a slightly different screen:
You can start a production with the blue button in the middle. It will open the same view as the "Insert Production" feature.
When choosing a Stopped machine, it will allow you to check the details of performed actions in the Maintenance Orders tab and also end the downtime if needed with the button on the right.
Known limitations
When clicking "Start production", the tablet forwards the user to the insert production flow without the machine context. Therefore, the worker still needs to select the production order, product, operation and machine.
When clicking "End production", the tablet also forwards the user to the insert production flow without the machine context. Therefore, if multiple productions exist for the worker, the production to be closed still needs to be selected in the following step.
When clicking "Cancel", the worker is redirected to the main tablet menu or to the worker screen (depending if the worker screen is being used or not). For example, if workers click "End downtime" and then "Cancel", the machine context is lost and the worker needs to select the machine again.
The machine image is only available in the machine specific screen, and you cannot see it in the generic view.
When a worker clicks "See details" and has an ongoing maintenance record for a different machine, he is forwarded to the ongoing maintenance record, instead opening the details of the maintenance order for the current machine.
