We are expecting to release a set of significant enhancements in Fusion Operations soon that will improve the system usability, allowing you to better navigate, edit, and export the data from your account.

Since the upcoming changes will alter your experience and provide more capabilities, we have outlined the major updates below to help you prepare:

1. Filters will be moved and allow multiple selection

Filters will be placed on the top right corner of the screen, instead of the top left corner.

After applying a filter, that will be visible on the top of the list (1), multiple entities can be selected on each filter (2).

2. Bulk actions activation will be changed, and bulk actions for "Export to PDF", "Export to Excel" and "Delete" will be available on lists.

Instead of clicking on a row to make the bulk actions available, there will be checkboxes on the left side of the list. You may select all rows (1), or you may select each individual row (2). Both will enable the bulk selection of entities, that can be afterwards selected on the top of the list (3).

These actions will export (to PDF or Excel) or delete the selected lines, respectively. The action "Delete" will only be available for Admin users. This action will replace the current "Excel (Whole List)" option available in some lists.

After exporting the data, the list of applied filters will be available on the "Recent Exports" list.

Moreover, additional bulk actions will be available in the following lists:

  • Production Orders: assign workers, assign worker groups, and assign machines

  • Purchase Orders: open, close, archive, unarchive, activate in tablet, and remove from tablet

  • Maintenance Orders: open, close, archive, unarchive, mark as completed, and mark as not completed

  • Inventory Counts: open, close, archive, and unarchive

3. The scheduling interface will have bulk actions on the Production Order and Operation views

Both these views will have bulk actions, allowing Production Orders and Operations atributes to be mass edited.

After selecting at least one production order on the left side of the scheduling view (1), multiple bulk actions will be available on the top of the scheduling view (2).

On the Operations view, the assignment of resources to operations will be moved to the bulk actions, allowing to change attributes for one or multiple operations at the same time (see below).

A new setting named "Do not allow production orders or operations to be resized on scheduling Gantt views" will also be available. When enabled, Production Orders and Operations can only be dragged on the scheduling, and not be extended or shrunk.

4. The data on Excel exports will be changed

The columns and structure on the exported data will be modified. The structure will be similar to the reports: the applied filters will be indicated in rows 2 and 3. The headers for the exported data will be available on row 5 onwards (see example below for Sales Orders).

The columns will be modified, and more details can be seen in the end of this article. You may also contact us in case you'd like to know more.

5. Sections, Work Instructions, Punch Clock and Health & Safety lists will be moved

The Sections and Work Instructions lists will be moved to the Operations menu, the Punch Clock list will be moved to the Workers menu, and the Health & Safety (previously known as Safety & Health) menu will be moved to after the Maintenance menu.

6. More columns will be visible in Products, Operations and Machines lists

These three lists will have more columns that can be selected (and also exported) in the system. See some of those in the screenshots below.
