How to capture images in Fusion Operations?

Fusion Operations allows you to capture images using the app, that can be reviewed later as many times as needed. These images can be captured in production, when receiving a product from a supplier, during an inspection, or even when performing maintenance on machines.

Throughout this article, a detailed explanation of how to capture images is provided in the different scenarios.

How to build the setup to capture images

The feature that allows you to capture images in Fusion Operations is a checklist, more specifically the parameter of the type "Image".

1. Go to the Quality menu (1), press on the Parameters tab (2), and select the button "Add Parameter" (3).

2. Fill out all mandatory fields of the parameter. For instance, the Name (4) that will be associated with the parameter, the type "Image" (5) - will allow the photo to be taken - and the Text that will be shown on the tablet (6). Afterward, don't forget to save the parameter (7).

Capture Images during Production

1. Create a Quality Checklist with the previously created parameter. Check this article to know more details on how to create a checklist and its configurations.

2. On the desired product and operation, associate the checklist to the respective field (1) and afterward save it (2).

3. During production, the parameter of the type "Image" will have a button(1) that upon selection, will open the device camera to capture the image. After taking the picture and pressing the button "Confirm" (2), the image will be associated with the record.

Pro-tip: You can also add the parameter directly to the operation, instead of creating a checklist however, it's more versatile to create a checklist.

Capture Images when receiving a product from a supplier

1. Create a Quality Checklist with the previously created parameter. Check this article to know more details on how to create a checklist and its configurations.

2. Associate the checklist to the product, on the field "Receiving Checklist"

3. When receiving a product from a supplier, the parameter of the type "Image" will have a button - "Take photo"(1) that upon selection, will open the device camera to capture the image. After taking the picture and pressing the button "Confirm" (2), the link to the checklist record where the image can be seen will be displayed.

Capture Images during Maintenance Inspections

1. Create a Maintenance Checklist with the previously created parameter of the type "Image". Check this article to know more details on how to create a checklist and its configurations.

2. Associate the checklist to the Maintenance Order, on the field "Checklist". If you need more details on how to create a Maintenance Order, please check this article

3. When performing a maintenance order, the parameter of the type "Image" will have a button -"Take photo" (1) that upon selection will open the device camera to capture the image. After taking the picture and pressing the button "Finish" (2), the image will be associated with the Maintenance Order.

Capture Images during Safety & Health inspections or Any other inspection

1. Create a Safety and Health Checklist (Maintenance or Quality) with the previously created parameter of the type "Image". Check this article to know more details on how to create a checklist and its configurations.

2. When filling out the "Safety & Health" Checklist, the parameter of the type "Image" will have a button - "Take photo" (1) that upon selection, will open the device camera to capture the image. After taking the picture and pressing the button "Complete" (2), the image will be associated with the checklist record.

How to check the captured images?

There are several approaches you can adopt to check the captured images, depending on the kind of checklist performed.

Checklist Records

If the checklist was filled out through the Checklist Record button, you can check the images in the Checklist Records tab.

1. Go to the tab "Checklist Records" (1) under the correspondent menu - For example, if it was a Production and Quality checklist you need to check the checklist record under Quality tab, otherwise check the Maintenance or Safety & Health tabs. Afterward, press on the symbol edit (2) of the checklist record.

2. Inside the record, press on the button "Preview" where you can check the image that was taken.

Production Records

If the checklist was filled out during production, you can check the results directly on the production records.

1. Go to the tab "Production" (1) and with the help of the filters (2) detect the desired production record and edit it (3).

2. Inside the record, press on the button "Preview" where you can check the image that was taken.

Maintenance Orders

If the checklist was filled out during a maintenance order, you can check the results directly on the Maintenance Orders tab.

1. Go to the tab "Maintenance Orders" (1) and with the help of the filters (2) or search bar (3) find the desired Maintenance Order and edit it (4)

2. Inside the Maintenance Order, press on the button "Preview" where you can check the image that was taken.
