How to use the Quality menu?

The Quality menu has 3 available sub-menus: Wastes, Checklists and Parameters.

In Wastes sub-menu (previously available inside the Operations menu), you can quickly add new wastes only by writing the code, description and flaw and selecting if it is recoverable and/or billable.

Checklists are a new feature that allows you to group parameters. For example, you could create a checklist called "Cut" that would group parameters like "Color" or "Height". These parameters are only an example and you have total freedom to create the ones that best fit your production process.

Parameters allow you to collect different types of data directly from the shop floor. When associated with Operations, workers may fill them out when performing those Operations. If associated with a Product, you need to specify parameters of that Product when ordering its production, being registered automatically in all productions of that PO. Later you can see those registrations through the reports, analysis (if they are numeric) and filter them on stocks menu (if they are Product parameters). As said before, Parameters can be grouped in Checklists.

Watch the video below to see how these options work on a tablet/smartphone when a worker is closing a production:

As usual, if you have any doubt about if you should use these features in your production process, request a Fusion Operations expert to contact you here.
