Recommended devices to use Fusion Operations, print labels and scan barcodes

Mobile devices are essential to capture live data from your shop floor with Autodesk Fusion Operations’s application. Label printers and barcode scanners allow you to make this process faster for your workers, allowing them to print and print labels to skip manual data insertion through Autodesk Fusion Operations. Choosing a fully supported browser ensures that you get the best experience when using the management interface.


For smooth use of our mobile application and printing labels, there are some recommendations regarding devices.

Mobile

For mobile devices to run our application smoothly, these are the recommended specifications:

  • Android

    • OS version: Android 8.1 or higher

    • Resolution: 1024x768 or higher

    • Memory: 1 GB Ram or higher

    • Processor: 1 GHzDual-core or higher

    • Chrome Version: 80 or higher

    • Supports Google Play Store

  • iOS/iPadOS

    • OS version: iOS 13.4 or higher

    • Resolution: 1024x768 or higher

    • Memory: 2 GB Ram or higher

    • Processor: 1 GHz Dual core or higher

Label Printers

Fusion Operations supports Zebra printers. To print labels through a mobile device the printer needs to be connected to a computer via wifi or via cable, and supports ZPL.

If the printing of labels is done at a computer, the printer does not need to have wifi connectivity as it will be connected to the computer already.
